Ouch

Okay, that sucked. As you can see I took a week off to lick my wounds and make sure that the monster losses on Sunday were a fluke. Maybe it's to early to tell, but I think they were. I can tell you that I've had about 5 perfect days for every "couldn't have been worse" day. So, let's see if we can't start winning again. By the way, Sunday and Monday of last week were both killers. I played Monday's games on paper and only won 1 of the seven that I liked. After that things evened out.

Here we go.

For those of you that have looked over my history of picks or have been with me from the start, you probably saw this coming. I'm going to pick the Giants today. They are excellent on the road ATS and could surprise the world by winning straight up today. The Patriots haven't covered the spread in five games. That's mostly because they are overvalued/overplayed by the betting public.

One more thing, don't bet the farm. I'm betting the same amount on this game as I have every other game this year. Consistency is the key to success.

I'm going to take the Seattle Seahawks giving 3.5 to the Washington Redskins. I'd like to take the Pittsburgh Steelers, but I think the line is pretty close, so I'll pass.

I've got my NBA schedule up to date. I'm going to be watching the returns on paper and when I feel like I've found the winning trend I'll start giving away my free NBA picks.

I ended the NFL regular season with a profit of 12.6%. I take back what I said about my picks not being spectacular. That's a solid winning percentage. It'll only get better with the NBA.
